Great article. Would be good to include links to "road maps" and process indicators to help nonprofits begin to make this journey. I thought with the down economy more groups would consider this but it seems economics is not enough of a driver. Board leadership is key here in having organizations consider this approach.

My interest is in collaboration amongst solo entrepreneurs. If there are obstacles between various non-profits and within corporations regarding ego, reservations about the process, and perhaps other things, one would think it easier amongst entrepreneurs where there is less red-tape and boards to approve such ventures. But in fact it seems the same concerns are everywhere the same. Yes there are entrepreneurial joint ventures, but by and large, most entrepreneurs labor alone and miss many opportunities.

A great statement you quoted - We can get a lot more done together than we can separately.
