One-Line Bio

My colleagues and clients call me “the collaboration guy” because I spend much of my time thinking, researching, writing and speaking about every facet of collaboration.


I’m a collaboration and communication strategist, speaker, workshop leader, research team leader and the author of three books, "The Bounty Effect: 7 Steps to The Culture of Collaboration" (Red Ape Publishing), "The Culture of Collaboration" (Red Ape Publishing) and "Personal Videoconferencing" (Manning/Prentice Hall).

I’m interested in the interplay of culture, environment, organizational structure and technology to support collaboration. I’m director of The Culture of Collaboration Institute, which conducts research on, well of course, collaboration.
